Our client is one of the leading Sports and Entertainment digital agencies in the UK. They have a track record of producing some of the best creative promotional campaigns around and they now are looking to increase their social media offering.
- The Role
- Provide council for internal non-specialists
- Help shape and define the Social Media Offering
- Guiding other clients through social media opportunities
- Pitching social media ideas to clients
- Supporting and consulting on clients owned media properties (e.g. Facebook/Twitter/YouTube).
- Setting up and writing in-depth social media listening/monitoring reports
- Providing support and leadership for internal client teams in social media
- Establish long-term relationships with relevant senior client contacts and gain their trust as a social media expert
- Assist client leaders in developing clients’ knowledge of social media and grow the role of digital in their marketing programmes
- Assist client leaders in developing new business opportunities
- Inspire clients by demonstrating the response & brand building capabilities of social media
The Right Candidate
- A deep understanding of the following key areas of Social Media: Social platforms and sites (FB, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube etc), Community management, Social games, apps, competitions and promotions, Influencer analysis and mapping, Outreach and social PR, Social search, Social plug-ins, Buzz monitoring, sentiment analysis and the most effective and relevant platforms and Web analytics
- Substantial social media experience within an agency
- Understanding of broader digital platforms especially SEO
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and career drive
- To be a personal evangelist for social media with a strong POV
- A self-starter
