Business Development Manager - BDM - Account Manager - Sales

My client a market leading full service digital content agency urgently requires a highly skilled business development manager and account developer with experience of identifying new opportunities and develop accounts within current client base accordingly. Reporting directly to the business development director you will be tasked with developing new commercial opportunities for this leading digital agency.

In this diverse and exciting role the business development manager will be involved in the full sales life cycle from lead generation and devising strategy right through to competitive pitching and closing business.

 Business Development Manager Responsibilities will include:

• Win business in line with the Business Development strategy and targets

• Lead generation and account development and provide a detailed keep in touch strategy with current clients and prospects managing an effective pipeline of business.

• Pre-qualify in-bound leads and open senior levels of engagement with prospect

• Deliver the life-cycle of a pitch in conjunction with the delivery and marketing

• Develop a sales strategy in line with the Company’s development plan

• Work with the senior management team to deliver innovative campaigns for generating leads

• Acting as a true ambassador, representing the agency at any events, conferences, or external audiences

To qualify for this unique opportunity you will be a highly skilled business development professional with a proven track record of selling digital services into major brands.

You will be highly competent in all stages of the sales process from dealing with RFPs and RFI to pitching and lead generation.

A passion for and in depth understanding of how digital services can benefit brands is essential and ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years in an agency environment.
