Digital Project Manager
If you have a year to three years experience and enjoy working on large technical builds, my client currently has a lot ot offer your personal development within the Agency space. They have offices located across the world and are about 30 and growing in London. The team is extremely experienced so you will have a lot of knowledge to draw upon and a personal development plan from day one. The client base is interesting and you will be mainly working on large tech builds.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Price new projects and maintain responsibility for project budget from proposal through to project completion.
Advise on project structure for new engagements including defining an accurate scope against budget, de-risking project delivery, minimising commercial risks and maximising revenue and margin.
Manage multiple digital design projects with specific responsibility for:
- Managing client stakeholders at all business levels
- Controlling project scope
- Ensuring timely deliverables
- Managing project risks and issues
- Managing 3rd parties and software developers
- Retaining reputation for rapid response and flexibility on projects
Develop a close working relationship with the Service Design Leads who are responsible for creative direction on each project and project deliverables.
Internal and external project reporting.
Oversee due diligence ( including technical ) processes for 3rd parties.
Help to drive continual improvement to Fjord project management processes.
Cover internal and external resourcing requirements where necessary.
Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Knowledge, experience & technical skills
Demonstrable experience managing multiple simultaneous projects involving cross- functional product teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
Demonstrable experience managing external and internal clients.
Excellent knowledge of Project Management principles, methods, tools and techniques.
Demonstrable experience with a variety of Project Management methodologies:
waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Prince2 etc
Demonstrable experience running a technology, software implementation project.
Ability to handle multiple planned and unplanned projects, roles and responsibilities.
Demonstrable experience managing multiple third-party vendors, internal and external
Demonstrable skills and experience in mediation, negotiation, presentation and conflict
Exemplary verbal and written English communication skills.
Experience using Agile project tools - e.g. post it notes, swim lanes, PivotalTracker,
Trello, Kanban Boards etc
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Project/Merlin, Microsoft Office, Visio
