SEO Associate Director
£45k-£50k plus benefits
A large, Award Winning international Media Agency part of a large network of Media & Digital specialist agencies around the world. The International Marketplaces team at this agency is committed to creating and co-ordinating unparalleled Search Engine Marketing (SEM) programmes that deliver incremental, measurable business results for its wide range of well know international brands within Retail, Finance, Motor, Technology & FMCG industries.
As well as directly managing local market SEM programmes out of London, the team is also tasked with ensuring client objectives and SEM best practices are followed and developed across the agency network in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
- The SEO team is looking for an experienced SEO practitioner to fill the role of Associate. This is a brand new role, created for the right candidate to come in and kick start the International SEO offering.
- The Associate SEO Director role is pivotal to the overall success of International Search, where you will be responsible for developing new business, growing and spearheading a team to support that business and ensuring they deliver best-in-class SEO products and services in conjunction with other group agency SEO teams.
Key Responsibilities Include (some travel may be required):
Client Servicing: Plan and lead SEO strategies for International clients, delivering results-driven solutions in collaboration with local markets and other teams, taking ownership of and servicing clients to the highest possible standard.
Business Development: Support the SEO Director on new business proposals to grow the SEO team. Identify and develop BD opportunities for clients you are working on, in conjunction with the SEO Director.
Team Work: Provide support, guidance and training to more junior members of the SEO team and wider search team, helping to mentor new starters as the team continues to grow.
Operations & Integration: Develop scalable processes to deal with the logistical complexity of International SEO projects and ensure the SEO product is best-in-market and fully integrated within the agency involving heavy interaction with the ppc, social media, affiliate, display, & media planning to help to better integrate these disciplines with SEO.
Relationships & Communication: Maintain strong internal communications and relationships across teams and local market offices, ensuring that all client deadlines are consistently hit.
*At least 4 years hands-on experience in SEO, preferably with an agency background with international SEO projects
* Driven and passionate about all things SEO, with the ability to turn ideas into reality & strong client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms
*Strong written, numerical, analytical and creative skills - able to come up with great ideas and winning strategies that help websites stand out from their competitors
*Highly technical knowledge of SEO, including; keyword research, competitor analysis, comprehensive site audits/optimisation and all off-site promotion (strategic and practical), with hands-on experience
*Knowledge of site architecture, including CMS and other website management tools
*Knowledge of site analytics solutions such as GA, Omniture and WebTrends - able to take large data sets, analyse and derive useful insights from them
