- To prioritise, manage and implement marketing activities within the region
- To initiate, develop and co-ordinate sales driving marketing activity, which may include partnerships, promotions, events, design and print management, with involvement from the wider marketing team and agencies as required
- To oversee on-going sampling and outdoor catering opportunities to encourage trial of new products, and to encourage non-users to try the brand offering
- To represent and support all the sub-functions of the Marketing Dept at regional level, including PR, Digital, Customer Experience and Internal Comms
- To ensure appropriate marketing support is developed and delivered for new openings and refurbishments
- To ensure effective analysis of key Marketing data (internal and external) so that it influences effective business solutions within the region
- To review the implementation of national Marketing initiatives to monitor the impact on the region and feedback any suggested changes
- To coach and mentor regional colleagues on use of commercial information to inform marketing
- To provide tailored training to give managers within the region the tools needed to manage their own marketing locally
- To maintain awareness of competitor events in the region and share potential opportunities and threats with the regional team
- To actively participate in regional meetings to bring a sales and marketing dimension to all business discussions
