This is a key role within the marketing department of an automotive manufacturer’s UK head office. They aim to deliver a dynamic marketing plan that strives to create an innovative and integrated customer experience.

Job Purpose
To coordinate a communications strategy that delivers the manufacturer’s brand experience through all customer touch points - working in close collaboration with the internal marketing team. Oversee and ensure the external agencies support all business requirements and maintain consistency in the brand look across all communication channels.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Develop and coordinate the planning of all marketing communications activity in line with the business objectives
Manage and deliver the communications strategy across all media
Manage the implementation of the national brand, tactical communications and new model launch strategy
Investigate and maximise new communications, media and sponsorship opportunities
Provide support for the Regional Marketing Team
Investigate and maximise new communications, media and sponsorship opportunities, making recommendations for new/ alternative ideas and strategies

The successful candidate will:
Be educated to degree level or have a professional marketing qualification
Have client or agency side experience of managing and implementing a communications plan for a brand
Demonstrate previous experience in managing marketing communications across a broad range of disciplines including - broadcast media such as TV and Sponsorship, Print, Outdoor and Digital.
Knowledge of brand research and positioning
Have B2B and B2C  marketing experience – in ideally in the automotive industry
Have a strong attention to detail and a clear ability to manage a significant budget
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing relationships with agencies and/or suppliers
Be able to demonstrate the ability to work closely with and manage creative and media agencies.
