This is a really interesting and somewhat unusual role with a long established btl marketing and promotions agency.

 

Background

 

This business has been around for a long time but remains at the forefront of consumer promotions for big brands. They are the world leader in lifestyle rewards and the integrated campaigns that help amplify them. Their marketing and partnerships team are experts at helping the world's biggest brands maximise their marketing ROI and ensuring as many customers as possible are reached,

 

Role

 

This position is vital to the success of the agency and comes with a lot of responsibility. You will be tasked with managing local marketing managers in 11 different countires worldwide. It will be your job to ensure that they are well trained and capable of meeting the KPIs set by your line manager - the Marketing Director. You'll be required to travel at least four times a year to meet and present to the staff in order to acheive this. Part of the role will also be to market the business and build the brand globally, this will be via lead generation campaigns and ever evolving CRM.

 

Person

 

This would really suit someone with global agency or company experience, someone that has managed people remotely before. An agency background is preferred and a knowledge of B2B marketing and the sales promoton industry would be a distinct advantage too. Maybe someone at SAM or AD level with a good knowledge of how to build and maintain CRM databases and promote a business outside the UK.

 

Whoever takes the role on will definitely need to be proactive, always seeking to make improvements, entrepreneurially minded, approachable and very thorough. Languages and understanding of different culures would be an advantage too given you will be dealing with many different nationalities.
