Interational planing and buying agency in London, part of a major media agency network, is looking for a proven Account Director to manage the planning and buying of their major international hotel account.


The role is multi-faceted with a core digital focus. It is hands-on and requires an individual to have good UK
experience and manage a team of two others who are dedicated on the business.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE

* Smooth day to day running of the team's activities, helping to integrate the different team specialisms
* Owning the Director-level client relationships in UK and field marketing functions
* Consistently driving better performance in digital direct activity
* Managing the client data visualisation and mapping dashboard
* Develop mobile and tablet strategy for UK market predominantly

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

* The role is client facing & requires liaison with multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate should have the
ability to build strong personal relationships with the clients & all involved stakeholders from Assistant level all
the way up to VP
* Strong full comms understanding of the UK media market
* It is important that the candidate has a strong digital knowledge and understanding, mainly on display
campaign - digital is 85% of the client spend and we are category leading in our innovation in this space
* Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks and work within tight deadlines across many
brands and multiple stakeholders
* Understand the digital DR process and have a more than basic understanding of ad tracking, attribution and
Omniture
* Understand social platforms, with multi market appreciate on platform scale and evolution
* Experience with working with data dashboards

DESIRABLE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

* Hospitality market knowledge is not required - we are breaking rather than following category
* Experience of working in a media agency or cross discipline media owner business
* Digital Native is desired, fused with a full understanding of UK comms
* People management is a must
* High energy, prepared to travel, high enthusiasm and someone who's sleeves are always rolled-up
* Someone who knows when to smil
