Head west for this challenging opportunity to work for a global tobacco company in the heart of Bristol, leading an initiative to rapidly take a well-established brand from local to global.  Working closely with different markets, you will drive brand strategy, positioning, NPD and packaging initiatives, applying your insight-based understanding of consumer behaviour and attitudes, ensuring that this is embedded into strategic and operational initiatives, and is understood by stakeholders across the business.  In what is a challenging and highly competitive industry, our client is looking for a talented, entrepreneurial marketer who will enjoy working in a complex, highly-regulated but enormous category, with opportunities to grow your brand building and commercial skills. 

 

Our Ideal Candidate

 

With a track record gained in FMCG brand marketing, you will have built and developed brands, managed significant budgets, driven major innovation & packaging projects and navigated your way through different market and regulatory environments in multiple geographies.  You will combine commercial savvy with excellent conceptual and analytical thinking skills and will have an intuitive grasp of consumer drivers and motivations in what remains a massive global industry.  Strong communication skills are key with the ability to work across different cultures and organisational structures.  A willingness to travel regularly is essential and fluency in other languages would be a definite advantage.
