Media Sponsorship Associate Director

You will be working for a major media agency with a global presence which ensures they’re at the top of their game and house some of the best accounts and media talent in the market.   You will be working from the clients offices based in Liverpool while reporting to the media agency head office in London.  As such you will be truly integrated into the clients business and effectively be a solid extension to their team while being the face of the agency with the client as an extension to the London operation.   Working on the client side you will be fully responsible for activating and implementing projects while fully demonstrate the power of the agencies credentials while delivering for your clients across a multiple of brands.  You will be fully charged with seeking and assessing potential sponsorship opportunities and be the main person responsible for their implementation which will see you pull together services and concepts from a variety of media channels across both traditional channels and new and developing experiential disciplines.  With a huge emphasis on service you will be the voice of the agency with the local client and will be well versed in all (or at least most) media channels to provide true insight and knowledge to the business.  As such you will be confident in planning and delivering ambitious integrated solutions through close media partnerships.  You will also be responsible for delivering financial targets and growing revenue while delivering true value and building a strong reputation in the industry.


To be considered for this role it is anticipated that you will have a solid grounding within media and this could come from a media agency, media owner or client side position.  You will have outstanding client management and development skills and be motivated by being at the coal face of a major account.  You will have exceptional presenting skills and the ability to deliver well executed and relevant presentations to clients which are hugely informative and relevant to their business needs.  You will also be comfortable with managing a number of projects at any one time, each which have their own individual challenges and objectives.  As the voice of the client within the wider agency you will also be confident with managing a number of different departments and act as the internal client voice ensuring the agency is fully aware of any key challenges and developments which potentially affect their work.  Experience within sponsorship will obviously be a huge advantage but there is some flexibility as long as you can demonstrate exceptional activation and project management skills.
