JOB PURPOSE of Marketing Manager:
- To lead company sales productivity through management of all digital and non-digital lead generation & nurturing campaigns
- To assist the Marketing Director in delivering all company internal and external communications.
- To lead the management of all new product launch campaigns and new product customer acquisition and cross sell campaigns
- To be the company brand guardian
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead Generation, Management & Nurturing
- Overall responsibility of all new lead generation campaigns, including email campaigns, 3rd party campaigns, web lead generation campaigns and partner campaigns
- Driving the Inbound Marketing Strategy, including content creation for all UK business websites, social media, email campaigns and any other communications channels used to nurture leads
- Ensure that on a weekly basis, enough warm leads are distributed to all sales channels, to ensure sales targets are met
- Attend the weekly Data Management Committee Meeting
- Chair the Monthly Lead Management meeting
- Work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing Director to ensure lead SLA’s are met and lead quality is maintained
- Manage lead forecasting and ensuring sufficient warm leads are scheduled to achieve company sales targets
- Work closely with the Head of Digital to constantly improve end to end sales process from lead generation through to opened accounts, using technology to drive sales performance
Campaign Management & Promotions
- Develop, plan and implement all lead generation campaigns for the UK Direct issuing business, with the help of the Campaign managers
- Plan and launch new product campaigns via multi-channels, working with the product department
- Ensure maximum traffic is driven to all company E-commerce sites, via multi-channel campaigns
- Tracking of all campaigns and reporting on results
- Responsible for all duties required to manage press advertising
- Management of all events as required
- Day to day management of all company PR
- To brief other departments on new campaigns that may impact those departments.
Communication
- Assist the Commercial Director and Customer Services Director in customer communications as needed, including drafting copy and dispatching communications via digital and non-digital channels
- Strategic development and management of all Social media platforms
- Develop, manage and distribution of all customer newsletters
- Manage all internal communication that may be required by the Marketing Department
- Managing all Social media campaigns, social media policy and social media comments or discussions about the company
- Acting as brand guardian across the UK business and lead all new branding decisions together with the Marketing Director
Relationships
- Establish effective working relationships across the business and with appropriate clients, suppliers and agencies
- Management of direct reports, including monthly performance reviews
- Attend monthly meetings with the Marketing Director, to discuss priorities and objectives
- Management of Marketing Suppliers
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant degree/marketing qualification
- Successful track record in data driven multi-media campaign management
- Good copy writing skills
- At least 4 years’ experience managing a team
- Good understanding and experience of lead nurturing campaigns
- Excellent knowledge and experience of all direct channels, including digital & non-digital
- Experience across a range of marketing disciplines including product promotion; brand; customer lifecycle communication management and partner campaign management
- Evidence of analysis and problem solving
- Creative thinker with ability to drive ideas through to reality
- Good commercial understanding of budgets, finance and contracts in relation to product management and development
Excellent relationship management, negotiation and influencing – at all levels
