Business savvy? Business Development Director needed for successful design and brand comms agency,

Are you business savvy, with strategic and commercial acumen, as well as a tremendous entrepreneurial spirit? This brilliant design and communication agency is thriving and wants to continue this strategic growth. The agency works with some of the biggest blue-chip accounts across branding, employee engagement, corporate reporting, to full digital communications. To build on their success, they need a bright, pro-active and dynamic Business Development Director.

Working closely with the Managing Partners, you will be at the forefront of initiating, growing and nurturing business relationships, with a particular focus on branding and employee engagement. And you will be forward-thinking and hands-on while doing so! The Business Development Director is likely to have come from a strong client services background, but has the talent, and strategic nouse to know how to grow business.

In a nutshell, you will be expected to set the overall growth and development strategy, open up new opportunities with existing clients and identify opportunities across all practice areas, from branding to employee engagement, digital and corporate reporting too. You will also lead the coordination of new business pitches and proposals as well as provide brand consultancy guidance, internally and externally.

The successful Business Development Director will have:

+ Strong experience working in branding and/or employee engagement, as well as corporate reporting and digital
+ Background in strategic client services, consultancy or communications
+ Sensitivity to creativity and approaching brands strategically
+ Ability to operate at Board level and all levels below with equal success
+ Natural gravitas and top-notch influencing and communication skills (spoken and written)
+ Ability to identify new opportunities, grow and nurture business relationships
+ You are tenacious and your approach will be proactive and effective, constantly inspiring people around you and providing sound and brilliant insights.
