Our client is an industry leading B2B Publishing house based in East London. They are looking for an experienced and talented Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role within the Marketing team of the business growth engine of the company – The Events Division.
This exciting position is unique as well as diverse, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to work on market leading awards and conferences. You will be responsible for driving audience volume and revenue growth of conferences (delegates) and awards (entries & tables sales) across a highly established portfolio. You will also be responsible for managing, leading and developing 2 marketing executives to ensure that, as a team, you deliver all strategic and tactical marketing requirements across the events portfolio.
The Marketing Manager will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in direct and email marketing, specifically within Events and/or Conferences. You will have the ability to work to challenging targets within tight timeframes, prioritising and setting clear measurable and achievable goals. Proven experience of developing and managing strategic plans and budgets, the ability to spot opportunities and transform ideas into practical reality and review existing challenges and generate fresh solutions. Line management experience with proven track record in attracting, coaching, developing and retaining talent is required, and a marketing qualification from a credible institution would be an advantage, but is not required if the right level of experience can be clearly demonstrated.
