The Director, Marketing and Communications, is a senior level role, reporting to the Dean. It carries responsibility for leading the development and implementation of marketing, branding, and communications (internal and external) strategies across the School. The role is critical to the achievement of the organisation’s financial objectives through the delivery of activities to support income generation across the three revenue generating areas of the business: Advancement, Degree Programmes and Executive Education. The Director will also ensure through Marketing and Communications’ effective partnership working with programme departments that student/participant numbers and quality targets are met.
The successful candidate will possess a degree and a professional marketing qualification with substantial marketing and communications experience at a leadership level gained at a leading organisation.
Amongst other qualities, you will also need:
• A track record in the design and delivery of strategic marketing plans
• Strong project leadership skills
• First class stakeholder engagement skills, both internal and external
• Excellent leadership skills
• The ability to achieve challenging targets
