My client is leading Education provider in London who are looking at growing their international team and exposure. They have a fantastic opportunity for an Online Marketing Manager to join their team.


Online Marketing Manager - London - Client Side - The Role

The main aim of this role is to drive customer acquisition on a UK and international basis. This includes managing campaigns using paid search and display advertising,as well as email marketing campaigns and working with their retained advertising agency. The role will also encompass SEO ensuring website country pages are tested and optimised in order to converting page visitors to applicants and taking into account best practice for SEO and user experience.

The role will also include:

*To ensure appropriate tracking (Google Doubleclick, online adserving) is implemented on campaigns to enable continual monitoring and optimisation of campaign performance along the customer journey, by course, country, and media.

*To evaluate and report on the performance of campaigns, bringing together and interpreting data from various sources (e.g. applications, registrations, web analytics, advertising, enquiries) to generate insights into how to optimise performance.

*To plan and implement display advertising to select the most appropriate placements, formats and advertising packages, to deliver optimum effectiveness, appropriate messaging and maximise return on investment. The majority of placements are likely to be online (Google Display Networks, other display networks and media, on YouTube, Facebook and other social media). It may also include some print and radio depending on market.

*To support the Head of Strategic Marketing in the development and implementation of appropriate marketing plans

In-depth knowledge of planning, implementation and evaluation of online marketing on an international basis (display, social network advertising (YouTube, Facebook and other platforms) including experience of purchasing, placements, formats, tracking, copy writing.

*In depth knowledge and usage of web analytics, online adserving and tracking technologies such as Google Doubleclick or similar

*Experience of managing outbound email marketing campaigns and selecting appropriate software.

*Strong analytic and data evaluation skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to offer creative marketing solutions.
