SEO Executive - The Role
Working across a portfolio of leading consumer Automotive Websites, you will be responsible for optimising the seo and social media across their online portfolio to drive traffic to their websites. Campaigns will be for both direct response and branding purposes.
*Report into the Head of Search Marketing + Analytics
*Work closely with the ppc, email, crm, direct marketing and trading specialists across the marketing team
*Build out the social media, link building, link exchanges,
*Develop relationships with bloggers and external content writers to increase outreach
*Research, audit, devise the strategy and implement SEO and link building campaigns yourself confidently and proactively
*Create new landing pages when required, and brief the development team when necessary for technical structural changes to be made
*Work with the content manager to create and source and develop relevant content publishing programmes
*Identify and build relationships with content aggregators
*Evaluate, analyse, report and discuss on Social media and SEO Campaigns to the marketing team and internal stakeholder when necessary
SEO Executive - Key Requirements
*Passionate about working in SEO and about cars!
*Experience working in a role whereby you write content - ie social media, online pr, or PR but want to learn more about SEO and specialise in that field
*Proven track record in working for a business or brand professionally in an SEO role
*Ideally have at least 18 months experience in SEO
*Experience with onpage seo - link building, link exchanges, etc
*Ideally experience of managing content campaigns and/or social media
*Understanding of SEO best practice
*Knowledge of how SEO fits into a wider online marketing campaign
*Awareness and ideally experience of both branding and direct response campaigns
You will be a great communicator, and want to work in a team and environment where you can bring on your won ideas and passions, discuss ideas within a wider online marketing team, and put into practice your ideas too. You will love working across multiple campaigns, sites and projects at any one time and have excellent analytical and reporting skills.
