The Agency

This is a charity-specialist marketing agency with a difference. The agency works across all disciplines, be it DM, mobile, social, outdoor, press, partnerships or online. The agency also embraces new methods and techniques in the marketing and advertising worlds with a collective intention to raise funds for some of the worlds most deserving causes.

The Role

This Fundraising Copywriter role is suited to a copywriter who enjoys telling stories. You will be writing direct mail packs, digital content (emails, websites, blogs), press ads/press releases as well as shorter, snappier advertising copy for online, outdoor and press.

This agency see their Fundraising Copywriter as someone who wants to use their marketing genius for a good cause...maybe you are fed up of selling products you don't believe in to people who don't want them!

You won't find a more worthwhile bunch of clients anywhere else. As a Fundraising Copywriter, your job will be to create and deliver exceptional fundraising campaigns that vastly increase revenue for the agencies' charity clients, allowing them to better support their causes.

The Creative team currently consists of a Creative Director, Head of Copy, several Copywriters and Art Directors, Artworkers, a Proofreader and Production  Managers.

The Fundraising Copywriter Responsibilities include -

- Working in partnership with other staff on concept presentations,

- Refining and developing selected ideas and interpreting and executing client feedback.

- Taking responsibility for the written aspect of the work the agency produce – ensuring that it meets both client & agency requirements as well as the requirements of the media in which it is used.

- Scheduling your work to ensure that you meet deadlines.

THE CANDIDATE

The Fundraising Copywriter will posess the following:-

- At least two years professional copywriting experience, either directly for a charity, in another charity agency or in an environment where you have been directly responsible for fundraising

- A portfolio that demonstrates your long copy capabilities;

- Have worked on direct mail/ digital campaigns before

- Will take an active interest in developments in both charity fundraising and commercial marketing.
