This exciting role will be part of Haymarket’s growing Online Events & Video team. It involves managing all aspects of digital marketing campaigns for a variety of online events, videos and websites, from planning, through to implementation. Current areas of activity include www.brandrepublicinsight.com, www.virtualvenuevisit.com, www.wpmvirtualsummit.com, www.thirdsectorinsight.com,www.corporatecharityconnections.com and many more.
Key responsibilities/tasks:
- to plan and implement innovative multi-channel digital marketing campaigns for our online products
- to devise and implement effective paid and organic search campaigns across different markets
- to effectively use social media channels from LinkedIn through to Twitter and YouTube to grow, and engage with, our audience
- to create and manage media partnerships with key associations and trade bodies
- to manage and track email campaigns from start to finish
- to make best use of a multi-sector database
- to fully utilise Haymarket’s on- and off-line media channels to best effect
- to write effective marketing copy spanning channels such as email, print and online adverts and social media
- to create and maintain user friendly websites
- to contribute innovative ideas to improve and grow our online product portfolio
- to use web analytics tools to help streamline the effectiveness of our campaigns and products
- to collate and send detailed reports to advertisers
The ideal candidate will:
- have at least 2 years of digital marketing experience, ideally in a related field
- have excellent knowledge and experience in all aspects of SEM, from strategy and planning, through to implementation and conversion efficiency
- have excellent communication skills, both in writing and speech
- be entrepreneurial and commercially minded with an interest in growing revenues around online products
- be creative with the ability to think outside the box in terms of taking our products to our audiences
- be motivated and a real self-starter
- be ambitious and eager to develop their career in digital marketing
- be excellent at dealing with people at all levels, both internally and externally
- be excellent at meeting deadlines and targets
- be well organised and have acute attention to detail
