International Marketing & Design Assistant

About the role
In this key role, you’ll draw on your insight and understanding of new marketing and digital trends to help deliver the Marketing plan of a newly formed International Marketing department. It’s all about engaging with potential clients on a global scale whilst providing solid marketing support for UPPM territories world-wide. Taking ownership of our content management systems, you’ll update websites, Social Media channels and partner sites with fresh new content that will appeal and inform on a wider scale – making the most of SEO, music search, display and PPC campaigns to get the very best exposure. Beyond that, you’ll make the most of your design skills to assist with a range of creative projects – everything from album art design and website promotion materials, to photo shoots and image sourcing. And making sure we keep on top of the competition, it’ll be down to you to seek out fresh and innovative marketing opportunities that will keep us streets ahead.
With a solid background in marketing you’ll be every bit as passionate about music as you are about the digital landscape. Experience in design packages including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign & Quark Express will be advantageous, as will your understanding of HTML and other online languages. A broad understanding of emerging digital opportunities will put you at a real advantage; while being social media savvy will help you to take our campaigns to another level. And as well as being an excellent communicator, your flexibility, organisation skills, creativity and ability to adapt to the changing market will mean you’ll soon be an integral part of this exciting new team.
