THE ROLE

This really is a great role for an Account Director, who is looking for a leadership position. You will be able to inspire and be the driving force for the account team.



You will be running the Direct Response advertising account. This remit covers DRTV (approx 6-10 ads per year), national press, outdoor and digital outdoor, magazines and supplements, door drops, direct mail, inserts and acquisition email activity. You will also do some work on online brand campaigns for new products and tariffs and have also produced retail campaigns to drive footfall.

You will need to work closely with the media agency, to constantly test and refine the creative product so that you are always achieving the highest volume of sales at the lowest cost for your client. You will also be responsible for the supply of the National Press on a daily basis, and as such be used to working to extremely tight deadlines and must be flexible and able to change your creative product at a moment's notice.





YOU

In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate:



*Strong strategic understanding of Direct Response marketing principles

*A passion for and strategic understanding of data planning and analysis

*Natural gravitas and ability to build and maintain strong relationships at the highest levels internally and with clients (up to and including 'Head of' roles ).

*Strong financial acumen - including the ability to negotiate high level fee/retainer and contract agreements.

*Ability to lead an agency team across departments.

*Superb creative judgement and the ability to protect and develop work from first internal review to final delivery.

*Lead by example - be the conscience of the team - monitoring/helping them keep their promises.

*Ability to lead new business pitches.

*Accomplished presentation skills.
