Membership Marketing Executive - Acquisition

Circa £25,000 per annum

The continued growth of our Membership Scheme is a key driver underpinning all we do at the RHS - and our membership marketing team is right in the heart of the action!  You will be joining a busy and creative marketing team, providing crucial support to the Membership Marketing Manager as together you’ll implement plans to acquire new RHS members from across a diverse range of channels.

You will develop and deliver creative and effective results-driven membership campaigns, both online and offline.  Building strong working relationships with internal departments, creative agencies, external mailing houses and third parties, you will enjoy plenty of variety – from coordinating e-comms, to delivering successful direct mail campaigns on time and to budget to deliver results.  You’ll work with digital agencies to deliver effective PPC (search) campaigns and develop corporate partnerships to maximise membership growth. From time to time, you’ll join our team on-site at our world-famous flower shows. 

In order to be successful in this role it is anticipated you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in delivering results-driven online and offline marketing campaigns including email and social media
  • Proven experience of working with creative agencies, designers, fulfilment houses and print buyers - managing budgets and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and planning
  • Good analytical skills and a results-driven focus
  • CIM qualification or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with creative flair
