Intranet manager

The role of Intranet manager will be tasked with managing the migration of the existing business intranet from an existing sharepoint platform to Sharepoint 2010. This will involve a great deal of new website front end development work in order to meet the targets laid out by the business for the new site. The role will also be creative, with this role taking responsibility for innovative new development, page updates, new site areas etc.

The successful candidate will likely have worked in a similar position beforehand, either as intranet manager of in a web development/project management role focussed on intranet development. They are also highly likely to come from a B2B background, ideally industrial. This person will need to tread the line between creative and development work, and will have an understanding of a variety of coding languages.
- Website design and development background
- Sharepoint 2007/Sharepoint 2010
- HTML/CSS/Java or similar
- Project Management skill
- Successful examples of working on Intranet based projects

Salary of 40000 to 50000 plus generous package.
