Marketing Manager, Automotive Finance Company
Our client is the UK Captive Finance arm of an Automotive Manufacturer offering financial and insurance services for the manufacturer’s car & commercial vehicle brands.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and role-out of marketing campaigns to promote finance offers for the manufacturer’s brands. You will work closely with product management and sales management teams to create dynamic marketing offerings for vehicle finance. Experience working in marketing function for an automotive finance company or in a product marketing or campaign development role for an automotive manufacturer or marketing agency would be ideal. You will need to have a creative, driven personality and the ability to influence and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders. A high level of numeracy and a very close attention to detail are also essential. As well as developing the marketing programmes you will also have responsibility for marketing communications – mainly to the manufacturer’s dealers. Experience in CRM and direct marketing would be particularly useful.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Development and implementation of customer acquisition, communication and retention strategies.
Develop campaign and product strategies with the manufacturer’s brands, analysing trends, product application and presenting in conjunction with the Senior Marketing Manager and Pricing Manager the recommendations for campaign strategy.
Assisting the brands in their advertising activity ensuring full compliance with legal finance requirements.
Marketing to the customer base through a multichannel approach, using direct mail, email and telephone based marketing.
Working with the Pricing and Risk teams in order to maximise retail opportunities. Including, exploring existing and new routes to market and recommending, developing, implementing and assessing relevant products.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience working in a marketing function including product development.
Experience working in marketing function for an automotive finance company or in a product marketing or campaign development role for an automotive manufacturer or marketing agency
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level
Ability to prepare, analyse and present statistical information
Experience of both CRM systems and direct marketing are highly desirable
A high level of numeracy and attention to detail,
Evidence of a progressive career history to date.
