Senior Customer Insight Manager - Analytics

A market-leading analytics consultancy are offering an outstanding candidate the opportunity to lead a team in conducting advanced analysis for a range of well-known clients in order to optimise marketing and overall business performance.


This international consultancy work with an impressive range of clients, largely across retail and FMCG, delivering data-driven marketing solutions to generate deeper understanding of customer behaviour and to optimise customer contact strategies.


You will lead a team of senior analysts, overseeing advanced statistical analysis of customer data using a combination of tools (including SAS, SPSS and SQL). You will use the insight generated to deliver actionable insight into your clients' marketing and business performance and to develop data-driven recommendations to drive business strategy.

This is a client-facing role that will allow you to work closely with senior clients to understand their analytical requirements as well as delivering analytical projects, insight, and recommendations. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences from a range of backgrounds and levels of seniority.

You will work on a wide range of projects, including analysis of customer behaviour, campaign performance, product performance, and overall business performance. Whilst the focus of your role will be to ensure the high quality of all analysis and insight generated, you will also retain a small element of hands-on analysis in your role and must be confident in conducting advanced statistical analysis using SAS, SQL, or SPSS.


The successful candidate will have the following essential qualities and skills:
  • High quality degree (2:1 or above)
  • Hands-on experience using SAS, SPSS or SQL for advanced analysis
  • Experience delivering strategies, generating insights and making data and analytically-driven recommendations
  • Experience and knowledge of a wide range of analytical techniques, such as segmentation, regression analysis, CHAID, cluster etc.

Experience working in a similar marketing analytics consultancy environment will be highly advantageous, though not essential.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn up to £70,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
