Strong commercial skills with hands-on trade/customer marketing or sales experience?  Track record of developing and managing trade marketing plans?  Here’s an excellent opportunity to get into a global food & drinks business working in its dynamic and fast-developing foodservice and vending business.  Working alongside the Account Management team, you’ll use insight data and your knowledge of the trade channel and customers to create relevant and effective activation plans that drive business growth.  This will include looking after design, print, DM and on-line initiatives that create ‘pull’ in the market, helping the sales teams to secure customer buy-in, ensuring that NPD launches are embedded in the market. and regularly reviewing the impact of marketing & promotional activity on sales.

Our Ideal Candidates

Strong analytical skills and commercial savvy are key for this role, in which you will work closely with major trade and retail partners.  You’ll have worked in category insight or customer/trade marketing or perhaps in a more commercial role, and will enjoy working closely with key customers, encouraging buy-in to promotional activity at a local level.  Strong, communication and influencing skills are key - you’ll need to interpret data and make clear and concise business/marketing recommendations.  You must be a tenacious and confident person with strong negotiation skills and a flexible style. You’ll be comfortable rapidly building strong, working relationships with different, key stakeholders around the business and within customers. You must be highly results focused and a team player; someone who thrives on a challenge and makes things happen.
