SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER | Independent agency | B2B/B2C | £32-40K

Highly successful, independent marketing communications agency is looking for its next SHINING STAR!  They are looking for a first rate SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER to manage the day-to-day client activity and support the Senior Account Director on key integrated accounts.  As Senior Account Manager, you will be reporting into a Senior Account Director and Business Director and therefore have bags of opportunity to gain experience, grow your career and be given tons of responsibility!

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for successful management of annual integrated account plans and achieving profit targets.  As Senior Account Manager you will work closely with the Senior Account direct to drive STRATEGY.  You will manage upwards to line manager, involving where necessary and providing regular status and updates for all relevant projects

The ideal candidate will have solid Senior Account Manager or Account Manager experience within an integrated agency and have man management experience too. You experience will encompass working with TELECOMS, ELECTRONICS or white goods clients across RETAIL and ONLINE channels. Digital experience is ideal but the role is wide and varied.

Essential skills:

  • Confident and able to hold their own with peers, line managers and clients on a daily basis
  • Excellent communication skills, writing documents / proposals and presenting
  • Strategic thinker
  • Integrated agency experience
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Solid Account Management experience, preferably at Senior Account Manager level        
  • First class client servicing skills
  • Able to create and build ideas (creative)
