Managing existing MVNO and bulk messaging partners, and welcoming new ones on board, it will be down to you to get the most out of Three’s wholesale relationships. Doing it well means offering our partners the propositions that are right for their business. So understanding client needs and tailoring our offering to meet them will be a big part of your role. To that end, you’ll suggest improvements to our service and work with stakeholders across the business to develop proposals that are better than ever. That means working out contractual negotiations with Legal, liaising with Technical to come up with solutions, and teaming up with the wider Finance function to put new pricing models in place. So you won’t just be building strong, open relationships with our partners; you’ll be making a name for yourself with people right across Three.
This role is about balancing knowledge of finance with experience of account management. But while we’re after financial smarts and business savvy, we don’t expect you to be an Accountant. Instead, we’re looking for a tried-and-tested wholesale relationship manager – someone who understands the importance of staying on top of account plans, but has the entrepreneurial spirit, sales drive and presentation skills needed to get results. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are just one side of it though. We want to work with someone who understands complex technical solutions and can not only sell them, but drive their development as part of a wider, cross-functional team.
