A Central London based in-house graphic department are looking for Designer
The team provides employee benefit communications for a wide range of clients including most of the top FTSE 100 Companies and many smaller organisations. The team is a vibrant, hard working group ranging from recently hired consultants just starting out on their consulting careers, through to very experienced communications consultants with extensive experience in employee communications.
The designer will be required to develop graphic design solutions for employee benefits communication; from initial concepts right through to finished artwork ready for print.
The role requires the designer to work closely with the consultants in the communications team and on occasion liaising directly with clients and other consultants from around the global business. You will be laising with a team of printers and suppliers to provide technical briefings on the required print specifications of the work, also working closely with the production consultant.
Strong creative graphic design skills and art working experience working within a busy commercial studio or corporate communications environment.
Ideally qualified with a graphic design degree or HND/GNVQ equivalent.
Experienced user of the current Apple Mac versions of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as a minimum requirement. Detailed knowledge of these packages and their practical application is essential for the production of high quality artwork.
Experience of new-media design (web/electronic communications)
In-depth knowledge of pre-press preparation and a strong knowledge of print.
