Technical Web Manager
Technical Web Manager
Cudham, Kent - inside M25
Competitive for the best person; guide £35 - £40k
We are looking to bring someone into this pivotal role to enable several of our priority businesses to accelerate their digital development. This is an opportunity to be at the heart of the successful drive into digital activity for some of our market leading, specialist magazine brands. The Technical Web Manager will have at least 18 months and maybe closer to 3 years’ experience of providing technical services and management to a successful web activity. Even more important is that you have the ambition, enthusiasm and indomitable attitude to become an indispensable part of our business.
First-hand experience of as many of the following as possible is desirable for the Technical Web Manager: web-publishing systems, SEO best practice, content systems, advertising serving/management/trafficking, mobile apps, digital editions, business analysis and functional specification/wireframe production. However, proving the ability to learn fast on the job, being responsive and flexible and having a fundamentally strong grasp of (and belief in the value of) web technologies is critical.
The Technical Web Manager will be a pivotal member of the team responsible for enabling the whole business to deliver success in the future. It does not live in isolation and the right person will have a clear capability to function as a core team member with an obviously commercially aware and pragmatic approach to life. It represents an opportunity to develop your own skills and experience while building a career that will grow with the business in months and years ahead.
The salary and benefits package will be more than attractive to the right person, but equally important will be the excitement this challenge creates and the opportunity to build a seriously rewarding, fulfilling and professionally valuable career.
Our business is based in the beautiful surroundings of rural Cudham, Kent but is well located being within the M25. Transport is provided to and from Orpington station for those who do not drive.
