Research Account Director (Mixed methodology with quant emphasis), Consumer, Retail & Tech - Leading Research Agency - c. £45,000 - £65,000 per annum

This leading research agency works across a variety of sectors including tech, pharma, consumer and retail with a mission to synthesize qualitative and quantitaive research seamlessly into solutions that help clients solve strategic problems, including around branding, segmentation, customer satisfaction and brand tracking, on a global basis.

The Account Director, Consumer, Retail & Tech will be:

  • a key senior member of the consumer team, responsible for leading accounts and developing new business working across retail, FMCG and technology sectors.
  • The position will work on both continuous and adhoc research and insight projects, both domestically and internationally.
  • You will construct imaginative bespoke proposals in response to complex client issues, working collaboratively to deliver projects and deliver striking presentations and workshops.
  • There will also be involvement in new business meeting and pitches, so commercial nous is a must.

While the successful candidate will come from a quantitative research and insight background, work wil be closely integrated with the qualitative research and statistics teams to ensure a joined up, "depth" approach.

The Account Director, Consumer, Retail & Tech, will:

- have excellent academics from a premier institution

- have a keen interest in, and experience of, technology, retail and FMCG

- be an expert in Quantitative research but must have experience of working with Qualitative output and integrating the two. Experience of workshop facilitation would be ideal.

- have experience of leading international projects

- ideally, have experience of working within a small/medium-sized agency
