My client, a successful and established market leader in their field of expertise, is looking for a commercially-minded Account Manager to join their busy team. This role will see you working to proactively manage the day-to-day relationships of the company’s existing affinity partners.
As Account Manager, you will be working closely with the Relationship Manager and the Marketing Department, assisting with the development of marketing plans and the implementation of new partnerships, agreeing plans with affinity partners, and delivering the marketing activity and campaigns. You will also be liaising with internal stakeholders, dealing with communications, maintaining regular contact with partners, working with the marketing team to produce marketing plans for partners, supporting the delivery of affinity marketing plans and budgeted sales campaigns, analysing and reporting on campaign performance, and delivering ad hoc projects.
As an individual, you should be commercially-minded, with good numerical and analytics experience and strong financial acumen. Substantial account management experience, ideally within financial services, is a given; experience within the financial, insurance, or utilities background would be ideal, but direct marketing experience is also a necessity. You will preferably be at graduate level or equivalent, or with professional marketing qualifications, but will certainly possess excellent communication and influencing skills, good time management, presentation, and organisational skills, and the ability to liaise at a cross-functional level.
