Brand Planner - Music Industry
A major player in the music industry…..
Purpose of the role:-
As a planner you will play a key role in helping to increase the efficiency and creativity of their marketing efforts . Working with their in house insight team you will help to foster a culture of consumer understanding; offering expertise on brand development, communications, culture and consumers.
The role has a strong strategic focus and as well as developing positionings for key artists you will provide strategic support to some of their key music labels.
We have immediate openings for two planners with 1 – 2 years’ experience as a planner or consultant in a marketing / brand or media agency or similar. Alternatively you are probably already working in the music industry in a marketing role but are looking for a strategic / consumer angle to add to your experience.
To be considered for these roles you will need to have a good understanding of how the communications industry works as well as experience of developing or contributing to the development of marketing plans.
Alternatively, if you have no experience in the music industry, we will also consider candidates who have experience in working in or with the media or arts industries; preference would be film, publishing or gaming,.
We would like you to have experience of facilitating and running brainstorms, experience of using consumer insight to form strategy and experience of developing brand positionings.
The role will particularly appeal to candidates who are informed, knowledgeable and curious about the music industry, ranging from music releases music consumption and associated trends.
You'll be part of a team of between 3 - 5 planners in a world class music business.
