Mid-weight Artworker - FMCG accounts - Central London Integrated Agency - £34k

The role

This Mid-weight Artworker role is to work on shopper-marketing solutions. The agency have a very impressive list of FMCG clients and their work spans in-store, experiential, digital, DM, outdoor advertising, branding and packaging.

 

The candidate

Ideally, they’ll have at least 5 years’+ experience in an artwork/print role and know shopper POS (dumpbins, FSDUs, CTUs) like the back of their hand.

They will also have an in-depth knowledge of typesetting, preparing print ready 2D and 3D artwork, and creating 3D Photoshop visuals - all within incredibly tight deadlines - they also need to be obsessed with getting things right first-time and delivered to deadline. Oh yes, not forgetting being able to juggle several projects at once, have a fantastic attention to detail, retouching, and be able to manage their time and your own projects well.

 

The perfect person is someone who is as happy working within a team as they are by themselves, is organised and methodical, calm under pressure, eager to learn more, proactive and helpful, and who has a zero tolerance approach to mistakes.

 

This agency strongly believe that everyone needs to pitch in to get the job done. The Mid-weight Artworker will play an integral role in the creative process. The agency believes that a good idea can come from anywhere - so be prepared to get your voice heard and to participate in brainstorming sessions.

On a day to day basis, the Mid-weight Artworker will be taking designs and concepts from designers and Art Directors and use them to create appropriate images and documents, ready for print/publication. There will be opportunities for creativity, where you will be allowed freedom to come up with exciting visuals, however you will also be expected to roll out existing designs.

 

Skills and Experience

The Mid-weight Artworker is expected to understand the basics of printing (cmyk, line screens, spot colours etc) and what the benefits and restrictions are in the different software programs.

The Mid-weight Artworker should have an interest in and ideally experience working on shopper marketing/in-store visuals

The Mid-weight Artworker should be proficient in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign) as well as MS Office (Excel, Word).

Having the ability to scamp (however loosely) would be a huge advantage.

Any social media/online experience would be great but not essential
