What will you do?
As Head of Marketing Communications & Sponsorship UK you will develop Marketing plans that engage and inspire consumers and ultimately deliver brand objectives and commercial targets. Responsibilities include:

  • Own the planning and execution of all of direct-to-consumer UK activities and budgets
  • Manage 2 direct line reports comprising PR and Social Marketing functions, with a dotted-line responsibility for the EMEA Search and Digital Team
  • Work with the EMEA/UK Planning & Insights team and media agency to develop & execute marketing plans that reach and influence target audiences in the most efficient and effective way
  • Lead UK Consumer marketing through:
    •  Campaign Development: Media planning, creative and messaging strategy, ATL localisation and creation
    • Digital: Executing consumer engagement programs through bought, owned and earned media including development and execution of social strategy
    • Partnerships: Leading partnership with UEFA Champions League and Europa League and working with 3rd parties, agencies and partners
  • Responsible for the planning, optimization and administration of ATL budget
  • Manage media, creative localisation, PR and sponsorship Agencies

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a highly creative Head of Marcom with experience from Mobile, Consumer Electronics, FMCG, Mobile Operators or Retail sectors. Ideally you also have the following experience:

  • Extensive Marketing and/or agency experience with rounded experience across disciplines and categories
  • Consumer Campaign Development - the ability to shape concepts, messaging and activations that engage consumers
  • Strong strategic and executional experience across the marketing mix with specific focus on media planning, digital marketing and sponsorship activation
  • Commercial Awareness - an ability to drive development of commercially grounded Marketing plans
  • Creativity
  • Proven people management and leadership skills, or the passion to step up to manage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Educated to Degree level
