The successful Online Marketing Manager will be based in London plus will have a varied and exciting role. This will report into the Head-of-Marketing and be responsible for managing 4 direct reports (two assistants, ad operations and a campaign executive) The team also has in house designers and is responsible for the creation and execution of all campaigns aimed at driving acquisition and usage alongside a successful sales team. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Email marketing - creation, implementation and analysis
- Banner advertising
- Optimisation of the website in relation to user experience and SEO
- Reporting of all campaign effectiveness.
- Database segmentation and management
- Relationship management of third party relationships
The successful candidate for the Online Marketing Manager post will need to show a number of qualities. Ideally they will come from a Publishing background and have a passion for science/technology. This London based role will suit those either in a senior executive position with a lot of responsibility at present, a junior manager looking to take a step up or an experienced head looking for a new challenge. Online skills are a must and there will be a good level of responsibility and autonomy in the position. Applicants will also benefit from showing the following attributes:
