Head of Regional Partnership Marketing
A terrific opportunity for an energetic and driven sports marketing professional to join this globally recognised rights holder to own and develop sponsorship relationships around the world. The successful candidate will not only develop and help activate campaigns for current regional sponsors, they will also play a crucial part in developing the framework in which this club grows their international business. In time you will probably recruit and manage staff in the regions to activate locally. The successful candidate will also need to be capable of working closely with the global sponsorship sales team to provide direction on, and support for, acquisition of new partners overseas.
You will have between 7 and 10 years marketing and/or sponsorship experience preferably with a global element to the work you have done. Knowledge of USA, Asian or Middle East markets will be helpful. You are someone who builds relationships easily, has a track record in over-servicing clients, customers or sponsors and is capable of developing marketing campaigns that accommodate the cultural nuisances of different territories.
This role is all about scope for development, both for the club and the successful candidate so you must be hungry, ambitious, creative, open minded, a real self starter, innovative - all the attributes required to take hold of this exciting new opportunity.
Reporting to the Director of Partnership Marketing you must be happy to travel extensively overseas.
