Marketing is looking for a Digital Content Manager to join its highly successful online editorial team. Following a relaunch of Marketingmagazine.co.uk, as well as the print magazine, and the launch of the Marketing app last May, we are striving to continuously improve our digital offer.
The successful applicant should be equally adept creating immersive and innovative digital experiences as they are managing social media communities on Google+, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, where Marketing has about 200,000 followers.
A key element of the role will involve working with colleagues to bring Marketing’s industry-leading editorial content to life across desktop, mobile and tablet platforms. They will also assist in the daily production of news and feature articles, ensuring content is as engaging as possible for an online audience.
Coding skills are a must; the ability to film and edit video content to a professional standard is a bonus.
The chosen candidate will report to Marketing's editor Claire Beale.
You must have:
- Experience working on a digitally-led editorial brand
- An understanding of website analytics
- Knowledge of the latest digital content trends
- Competent coding skills
- Some experience of video editing
- The ability to work under time constraint
- Dozens of ideas of how to improve Marketing’s online and mobile experience
