Marketing Strategy & Planning, VP

London£600 per day


Our client is a leading UK - and indeed global - financial services organisation working with consumers and corporates alike through targeted and relevant products and propositions.


You will work in strategic partnership with payment processing business units targeting either large enterprise, retailers or small business to deliver:

- Marketing strategy and activity planning/prioritisation in line with the short and medium term planning cycles and key business stakeholder needs

- Product development (in line with an agreed product line strategy)

- Previous experience of ownership of the product roadmap

- Brand-aligned customer experience & an embedded communications strategy


To be considered for the role you must have the following:

- Understanding of the payment processing business sector - ideally on-line or traditional payment methods

- The ability to think strategically by applying market, customer & competitor insight

- Experience of owning the product road map within the payments processing business

- A track record of successful proposition development with strong commercial reasoning

- Strong internal stakeholder management and peer influencing skills in a large, complex organisation
