My client is the world's leading programmatic media trading company, using multiple DSP platforms to deliver on client digital advertising objectives. Launched in 2008, they manage almost 2 billion digital display, video and mobile advertising impressions every month across the globe.

My client is the only truly independent multi-platform trading desk able to deliver programmatic advertising at scale across its regional hubs in the US and UK. With Singapore opening in Jan 2014 the business is looking to expand its national operations and is hiring country specialists to lead local market expansion.

Specifically the business is looking to recruit a high calibre sales operator able to lead their expansion into the Netherlands territory.

The client is looking to recruit an exceptional sales manager to lead the entry into this market. Operating from their London hub this will involve building relationships and closing deals with local advertising clients and media agencies.

The objective is to secure trading relationships in the Netherlands territory and make recommendations for building a permanent presence on the ground. The role requires frequent travel to the Netherlands to meet with advertisers and partners and as the business grows, this person will lead the market expansion as the Country Director either from London or on the ground as required.

This position operates as part of the EMEA Regional Sales Team reporting to its Director, also based in London. The objective is to build a multi-national sales team within London ensuring this person receives the support of the larger business and their sales colleagues.

Key responsibilities:
Develop & execute the in-country sales strategy.
Close advertising deals with clients directly and media agencies in the country.
Exceed agreed sales revenue and customer targets.
Lead the in-market sales presentation.
Identify potential partnership opportunities in the market to grow revenue & profit.

Experience & Qualifications required:
Has a track record of selling digital advertising at CMO and senior agency buyer level.
Must be a native Dutch speaker fluent in oral and written language.
Will have strong local market knowledge and appreciation of current market trading conditions in given market.
Have a number of strong sales relationships that they can bring to bear quickly in their market or responsibility.
Has a demonstrable track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
