The Board Account Director role
The role is to handle a well-known international luxury travel account that has done some ground-breaking work.
The agency has a long-standing relationship with the client. There is a true partnership model in place and they are an extension the marketing team. You will be in regular close contact with a senior level client both at their offices and at the agency.
The client has a marketing team consisting of Marketing Director, Brand Manager and channel managers spanning brand, digital/web, CRM and trade.
The UK is the client’s second-biggest market so you will have an important chair at the table liaising with the New York office to deliver global creative and strategic solutions.
The role offers plenty of headroom and in addition to managing a talented team you will be partnering a board level planning director and creative directors with the support of buttoned down project management.
Your role will be to ensure that the agency team are continually challenging the brand and ensuring the creative bar is set to the right height and is progressive, innovative and fresh.
The agency is ideally seeking a mix of retail and FMCG experience with an ability to work and deliver simultaneous short, medium and long-term creative and strategic requirements. The short-term creative requirements are a factor of the dynamic speed of the category.
Broadcast, digital and print experience along with an understanding of production techniques and timings are key to the role.
The agency is also seeking proven financial acumen with the ability to manage financial reporting and profitably run a piece of business. This is your gig and you will be running the account day-to-day.
