Group Account Director / Client Service Director - The Agency
This is an independent agency with a refreshing approach. There are around 35 members of staff, the work is creatively-led with good, strategic underpinning, the team are also commercially-savvy. Group Account Director / Client Service Director – the role
This is an opportunity for someone to join the team as a Group Account Director / Client Service Director. This role comes up very rarely and it really is a fantastic opportunity for a bright articulate and energetic senior Account Director or Client Director to step up to the next level of responsibility.

The Group Account Director / Client Service Director will have built their career agency side, be used to working with clients at a senior level, will have experience of managing AMs and AEs in their current role. They may be working in another branding and design agency or have experience working in an integrated marketing agency. They must have an appreciation and a love of good creative.
The Group Account Director / Client Service Director role itself will consist of a combination of specific client-focused account direction, management of the client services team and pitch/business development activity.
1 - Client-focused account direction
The Group Account Director / Client Service Director will head up several key accounts and a combination of working with an Account Manager and/or Account Exec to deliver both brand and stakeholder communications, and working directly with a client to manage the process.
2 - Management of the Client Services team
The Group Account Director / Client Service Director will lead their team and provide support to the account directors, managers and execs. Responsibilities include allocating client management resource when new projects come in, recruitment when necessary, reviewing CVs and interviewing. Setting standards and goals and being involved in the annual review process of the members of the team is also a key part of the role.
3 - New business activity
The Group Account Director / Client Service Director will be part of the pitch team on both brand and stakeholder communications opportunities - presenting the team, the agency’s approach and talking confidently about how the agency would deliver the overall project. They will also work with the Client Management team on internal farming and business development.
This person will be a key person within the agency. Within time there are further rewards for the right individual who makes their mark; the Group Account Director / Head of Client Services will be an active and vocal member of the management team and the company itself.
