Purpose: To be accountable for exploiting sales opportunities via the existing online website customer base and optimising journeys for existing customers. As more and more of our clients customers move online and the digital market expands, it is vital they offer their customers industry leading experience through the website. The successful applicant will be accountable for delivering the best possible customer experience to maximise conversion and performance on all journeys within the company website.

The Role:
·Enhance our digital Cross-Sell & Up-Sell programme through optimisation of personalised offers via a continual programme of a/b testing, behavioural targeting and optimisation of online journeys
·Conversion improvements for new to brand customers (acquisition)
·Enhance our existing customer journeys in order to drive digital adoption and reduce customer effort across our digital estate
·Continual testing and targeting programme aimed at existing online customers
·Grow the online cross sell & upsell sales volume for energy and services
·Define the digital personalisation strategy and plan
·Drive up conversion rates and improving effort scores for existing customer journeys ·Define and evolve the technical solution for cross sell consisting of the following Adobe products, Test&Target, SiteCatalyst and CQ CMS.
·Work closely with the Insight team and external agencies to ensure optimal customer targeting through data and insight
·Drive a culture of optimisation and continuous improvement across the digital team
·Build the profile of optimisation so that the specific needs of the Optimisation team are included in requirements.

The Person:
·Significant experience in digital marketing and in particular conversion optimisation and customer targeting
·A proven track record of driving significant business benefit from a/b testing, behavioural targeting and personalisation techniques to increase sales ·Experience of working with Adobe Test & Target (or equivalent targeting software).
·Demonstrable Adobe SiteCatalyst (or equivalent web analytics software) experience.
·Experience of using customer profile data to deliver a unique and personalised digital experience.
·Ability to define the optimisation strategy and plan and deliver on the objectives ·Creative and an excellent commercially acumen.
· Strong communication skills - verbal and written; the ability to influence senior stakeholders
