Adam would like to meet......a CRM specialist who can marry the understanding & management of data (market trends, brand performance, competitor analysis, customer profiling, campaign/promotion effectiveness) with the needs and mechanics of a large brand & direct marketing team.

Our client, a specialist retailer with a European high street presence, is looking for an experienced customer insight/ CRM manager to play a crucial linking role throughout their large marketing function. Involving analysing customer data,market trends, brand performance, competitor analysis, customer profiling, campaign/promotion effectiveness including social trends and regional variations, you must be able to interpret new and varied data and pull this together into well researched reports which will form a key driver in marketing strategy, customer acquisition policies and market segmentation.

The role exists to research and analyse customer behaviour, needs and trends. The successful candidate will use understanding of this to make recommendations regarding customer segmentation and inform future customer proposition and marketing strategies. An understanding of direct marketing and how to analyse this is essential.

Experience and understanding data analysis in a direct marketing environment would be ideal, though sector fit is not essential. Experience of data modelling and analytic tools (SAS, SQL, etc.) would be a distinct advantage as would experience of involvement in the marketing of product launches, direct marketing campaigns and promotions.
