Superb research & insight role with a leading multinational FMCG business with a host of high-profile brands.  Working with brand marketing and commercial teams across the European region, this is a key role requiring first class ad-hoc and continuous consumer research skills.  You’ll develop the consumer and market insights program for a major brand across the region, providing in-depth consumer understanding to support and guide decision making on NPD/innovation strategy, brand equity, category management & trade issues, shopper insights, advertising and packaging.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a major FMCG business with a huge commitment to building its brands via innovation and big budget A&P activity.

Responsibilities will include:

* Reviewing  business objectives with the Brand Director and Trade Marketing team to develop, manage and execute research plans to best support innovation / go-to-market strategy
* Developing a comprehensive understanding of the Brand Communication objectives and using research models to evaluate the effectiveness of the Brand communications
* Providing independent in-depth consumer journey insights across  the region that will support brand strategy and NPD & EPD projects.
* Building strong relationships with Global and Area CMI and analytical teams to leverage and contribute to the insights and learning’s and development of CMI best practice.
* Ensuring all market dynamics data for the brand across the region is reliable and actionable and cover all RB and competitor brands; strong focus and involvement in managing the business and NPD pipeline

Our Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in a fast-paced and busy FMCG business is key for this challenging role, almost certainly with a robust agency-side training too.  You will have been exposed to a wide range of research methodologies and enjoy seeking out new ways to get under the consumer’s skin.  Your experience will span product/concept testing including volumetrics, brand equity measurement and advertising tests & tracking working in conjunction with local management teams and the global insight team.  Ideally you will have worked on multi-country projects and will be happy to travel overseas regularly.  Strong commercial nous is key with exceptional influencing and communication skills.
