THRIVING BOUTIQUE MEDIA AGENCY - MEDIA MANAGER
This is a pretty unique opportunity as you have the chance to join a rapidly growing boutique media agency. The company was acquired last year by a larger media group and in its first year has doubled billing targets. The agency has a strong client list and big plans for the rest of this year beyond. Due to growth it is now looking to hire an ambitious, entrepreneurial Media Manager to work closely with the MD in running a number of its biggest and most important clients.
The agency is looking for someone who is fiercely ambitious and someone who wants to accelerate their career. You will have bags of autonomy and play a key role in further growing the agency. Your role in the company will be pivotal and wide ranging. With support when required you will run a number of the agency's largest clients. Your role will cover all elements of the media agency mix. You will develop fully integrated media strategies for your clients and play a fundamental role in planning and buying your campaigns. You will also have loads of client exposure and have the opportunity to develop into a highly skilled client leader.
Internally your role will be to manage your junior staff members and play a key role in developing them. You will also support senior management in new business pitches and bringing on more clients. You'll be working across all media channels, developing fully integrated media campaigns while developing very close relationships with leading media owners.
This isn't a typical media agency opportunity. Unlike big global networked agencies you won't be pigeon holed into one role. You will gain exposure to all areas of the business and have lots of variety in your day to day work. The agency has a great working environment and offers an above average bonus.

- Media planning and buying experience across a range of accounts
- Understanding the full range of media channels with ability to talk knowledgably about cross-media campaigns
- Particular planning and buying experience in press, OOH, radio and digital would be a real bonus
- Outgoing, tenacious and passionate about media
- Excellent communications skills - verbal & written
- Good knowledge and use of TGI, BRAD, Mediatel, Neilsen (inc AdDynamix), Comscore, Google Analytics
- Team player as well as having confidence and motivation to work
- Experience of managing clients between £50k-£2m annual budgets
- Ideally the candidate would have experience planning and buying all media. A broad experience is necessary
