My client is looking for a Digital Editor / Copywriter to join them in their fantastic Central London Head offcies within walking distance from Oxford Circus. The puropse of the role is to manage the online editorial production process for all private clients (residential sales, lettings, rural and residential development) content on the organisations website. The digital editor will also need to work with the existing web analytics team in providing content maintenance and measurement support for all website content to ensure it remains effective and continues to meet business objectives and user requirements as defined in the strategy work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production of writing for the web, writing for digital platforms for adoption by relevant parts of the business
  • Production of a content schedule for the organisations website and responsibility for delivering content as appropriate
  • Ensure all website content adheres to tone of voice, messaging and brand guidelines
  • Co-ordinate stakeholders and facilitate effective editorial management as part of any ongoing web content or design projects
  • Write original content for the website as required
  • Write and edit content for all of the external email marketing using Exact Target
  • Scope to potentially write and edit content for all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and others
  • Own and maintain the content plan (which tracks the creation and timing of assets from internal stakeholders, third-party content providers and agencies)
  • Implement and enhance the website content strategy

  • Proven experience as an online / digital copywriter and editor
  • Property and / or journalistic background desired but not essential
  • Comfortable working with content management systems
  • Excellent web content writing and editing skills
  • Able to achieve corporate goals through content selection, acquisition and commissioning, considering brand and marketing efforts in all media
  • Experience in drafting content recommendations in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in project managing the production of content
  • Experience in leading the editorial process, including overseeing small teams and maintaining day-to-day relationships with third-parties and digital agencies
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Must have a working knowledge of video and audio content
